I am a highly skilled media practitioner with 12 years of experience in journalism. I have worked as a senior news writer for several years for the Chronicle and Sunday Newsbefore I was promoted to the managerial post of magazine editor and then online and social media editor for the Chronicle, B-Metro and Umthunywa and Sunday News.

I was also the Acting Sports Editor of the Chronicle before Iwas promoted to Saturday Chronicle News Editor, a position that requires me to edit the whole paper from front page to back page.

The position of Online Editor and now Saturday Chronicle News Editor requires experience in coordinating and managing creative content for the website and the newspaper. The Saturday Chronicle is a magazine and we are big on pictures and videos so I work with a team of sub editors and graphic designers to come up with an edition.

I am an award winning journalist. In 2019 I was voted the Agriculture Finance and Development Reporter of the Year.In 2020, I was elected the Small Ruminants Reporter of the Year.

In addition, I have a solid educational foundation that willmake me an asset for your organisation. I have a Degree in Development Studies and a National Diploma in Mass Communication – a perfect combination for someone who desires to be part of your team.

I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in StrategicCommunication (as a block student) with the University of Science and Technology.
