Scholar and PhD candidate in Molecular Medicine at Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea. Master of Science by Hallym University, South Korea. Degree in Nutrition by the National University of San Marcos, Peru. Scientific. She has had distinguished scholarships such as the Global Korean Scholarship (GKS) from the Korean government, SNU Global Scholarship Program provided by SNU, WooJung Education & Culture Foundation Scholarship, and other scholarships She is currently a scholar of the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) scholarship from the Korean government to carry out scientific projects. She has received distinguished awards from the Universities of Toronto, Harvard in 2019 and the Korean Society of Cancer Prevention in 2021 and 2022 for her research work and recognized as “The Young Investigator Award - Best Presentation Award”. She has worked since 2009 on issues of public nutrition, experimental science, science diplomacy, women's empowerment, social entrepreneurship, project management and has participated in different international conferences and programs of "Korea Foundation (KF)", the “East Asia Institute”, “Falling Walls Lab Seoul”, “The Association of Korean Women Scientists and Engineers (KWSE)”, and the Korea Public Diplomacy Association – KPDA.  She is founder and president of the Asia-Peru-Pacific Society of STEM Researchers (SAPPIENS) and the Peruvian-Korean Academic Association (ASAPEC). SAPPIENS, to create a network of Peruvian researchers in Asia and Oceania to promote academic opportunities in this region for Peruvians and Latin Americans, ASAPEC to guarantee the rights of Peruvian students in South Korea and to be a support network for Peruvian students who wish to come to South Korea.
