I am Precious Lukhele.  Policy Specialist from the National Advisory Council on Innovation. We advise the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology on matters of STI.

I rise from an interdisciplinary school of thought. Passionate about research, education and the exploration and use of science, technology, and innovation to improve the quality of life for all South Africans.  

I have worked in the Department of Science and Innovation around.

Key Performance Areas in GIS (producing maps and maintaining geo databases); Research (knowledge production, transformative innovation policies analysis,  advocacy writing and the development of academic research papers around STI topics); as well as Portfolio-Programme and Project Admin and Management (inclusive of project monitoring).

I hold both Prince2 Project Management Foundation and Practitioner Certificates which give me a project health perspective and outlook in my life and work approach. Currently completing a Master of Management in Governance and Public Policy (WITS).

Personally, I am deeply passionate about social justice, redress, redistribution and taking care of our youth and children and strategically positioning them for rebuilding our beautiful country.
