Goratileone Oepeng is a BSc Biological science holder currently doing Hons in Entomology at the University of Pretoria. Mr Oepeng"s research is based on Understanding the role of brood pheromones in the reproductive dominance of Apis mellifera scutellata honey bees. 

He has recently finished his research project, and is interested in advancing to MSc to continue in the same field. Apart from academics MR Oepeng is also involved in the habitable planet workshop where he is a core lecturer and is a representative for the Northern Cape province. He also is part of an environmental conservation agency " Mimicry 42" aimed at spreadinga wareness around conservation of the planet's flora and fauna. Mr Oepeng describes his future as that is overhwelmed with ground breaking research and finding solutions to some of the world's greatest issues.
