Director, Chrysler Lab and Industrial Robotics Lab Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Oakland University, Michigan USA, Founding Director of Augmented Reality Center (ARC), created with the support and expertise of an Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) and Oakland University faculty to provide a learning platform where engineering and art intersect. Dr. Mirza’s work include a show-case immersive lab where engineering, science and art students engage with and explore Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and their applications, AR/VR space where industry can explore the state-of-art technology with engineering, science and art faculty, and students to test the tools and create content for their business, Workshops for students to learn about AR and its applications to become a valuable resource for the industry, Workshops for industry to learn about AR and its applications in their facilities to prepare for Industry 4.0.
