Christian Acemah, Executive Director of the Uganda National Academy of Sciences, has extensive experience in science diplomacy and science advice, notably through his previous role at the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and his current INGSA Africa involvement. His academic background, including a doctorate in science leadership from Vanderbilt University, is complemented by a master's in international development and strategy from Georgetown University and a degree in mathematics and philosophy from St. John's College. A corporate governance professional, he teaches corporate law, strategy, and boardroom dynamics for the Chartered Governance Institute of the UK and Ireland, East Africa Region.
