Ahmed Moosa Mohammed Al-Balushi is an Omani educator with a Ph.D. in Education from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia (2024). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Mutah University, Jordan (2012), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Chemistry/Physics) from the College of Education in Sohar (1999). Currently, he serves as the Director of the Science Sector at the Oman National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, where he is responsible for strategic planning and international cooperation in science education. Additionally, he is the National Coordinator for the GLOBE Environmental Program, overseeing its implementation throughout Oman. With extensive experience as a Senior Chemistry Teacher and Educational Trainer, he has contributed to curriculum development and national examinations. Ahmed actively participates in various professional committees, including the Steering Committee for the ICESCO Ministerial Conference on Education and the Scientific Committee for the Oman Science Festival. He has also conducted training in leadership and strategic partnerships, enhancing educational practices in Oman. His skills encompass team leadership, report writing, and educational assessment.
