Her Excellency Amna Al Balushi serves as the Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO. A graduate of the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Arts, she has held several prestigious positions, including Secretary General of the Oman National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture.

H.E. Amna Al Balushi has played a pivotal role in advancing Sustainable Development Goals, particularly as co-chair of the National Team for Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). She has been instrumental in fostering youth engagement, spearheading initiatives such as the Muscat Youth Forum and the global youth dialogue project "Connecting Cultures," which promotes cross-cultural understanding among young people.

Her Excellency has also contributed to the development of national reports for UNESCO and authored numerous publications showcasing Oman's achievements in education. Her extensive efforts reflect a strong commitment to enhancing education, promoting dialogue, and supporting sustainable development at both national and global levels.
