A postgraduate Student at the University of the Witwatersrand, working on Hepatitis B Virus in key populations; a collaborative project with the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. Doyen research experience span across different disciplines; bacteriology, parasitology, phylogeny, public health and virology. He worked with NDoH, South Africa and WHO Africa on Neglected Tropical Diseases in the Republic and recently with CHAI, South Africa and AMREF, Kenya on COVID-19 contact tracing. He has authored and reviewed several manuscripts for medical science communication.
