Graciele Almeida de Oliveira obtained her B.S. in Chemistry and her  PhD in Biochemistry  at the Chemistry Institute of the São Paulo University (USP). She is Specialist in Science Journalism with post-graduation at Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism at Campinas University (UNICAMP). She obtained her post-doctoral training at Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) and was Guest Researcher at National Cancer Institute (NIH). Nowadays, she is President of The Brazilian Network of Science Journalists and Communicators (RedeComCiência). She has a fellowship at Secretaria da Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovação e Ensino Superior, where she develops strategies related to Science Popularization at Paraíba (Brazil).
