CV
Badre is an associate professor at Mohammed V University & strategic foresight for policy development expert at the UN-Researcher Hub. His research focuses on foresight for policy in the context of gender, migration, youth, and social justice in the southern Mediterranean. Currently, is on a Fulbright fellowship at the University of Mississippi, writing a book on “Unaccompanied Migrating Children’s International Laws”. Previously, he held assistant, visiting lecturer & associate professor positions at Alfred University in New York, Monterey Institute for International Studies in California, Aalborg University Denmark, Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, Germany & the United Nations University, Spain. He has been collaborating with Westminster Foundation for Democracy; Aspen Institute; EU-JRC; CIVIS3i; ERASMUS+; InterAcademy Partnership (IAP); Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung; Global Young Academy (GYA); Next Einstein Forum (NEF); African Institute for Mathematical Sciences; Institute for Cultural Diplomacy; ECSA Global; Arab Council for Social Sciences, American Political Sciences Association; ICMPD; Danube University Krems ; IEMed; Anna Lindh Foundation; Union for the Mediterranean; FEMISE; and EDU4U, among others. Badre holds 4 master’s degrees: in Applied Linguistics (Morocco); Cultural Studies (Morocco); Business Administration (USA); and International Relations (Germany); and a PhD in Gender and Media (Morocco). His is 3-time recipient of Fulbright Grants & has received postdoctoral fellowships at the University of North Carolina (2014), Princeton University & Arab Barometer (2018), Next Einstein (2020) & Arab Council for Social Sciences (2017). He has published widely on the topics above mentioned.
