András Báldi MAE is leading the Ecosystem services research group at the HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research, Hungary. His main research topics are biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural areas, especially pollination and conservation biological pest control, with particular reference to landscape approach and ecological intensification based on these services. He is interested in the science-policy interface, former leader, expert and author of the IPBES, chair of the Advisory Board of the European Biodiversity Partnership, co-chair of EASAC (European Academies’ Science Advisory Council) Environment Panel.
