Barbara Ning Bálint serves as the International Scientific Secretary in the Cabinet to the President at HUN-REN, Hungarian Research Network. She focuses on building strategic partnerships and fostering collaboration with leading universities, research institutions, and key RDI stakeholders across Asia while supporting the development of international cooperation strategies.  

Previously, she worked at Mathias Corvinus Collegium, where she worked on international projects and expanded scholarship programs with Asia-specific initiatives, and at the Hungarian Innovation Center in Nanjing, where she managed bilateral science and technology collaborations and represented Hungary at international forums.  

Barbara holds a Master's degree in Law, specializing in Chinese Politics and Foreign Policy, from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor’s degree in European Politics from King’s College London.
