My name is Zamekile Bhembe from Eswatini. I am PhD student at the University of Eswatini. I am a focused and dedicated person who seeks growth and information in every possible situation. I am also a hard working highly skilled Ecologist with considerable experience in carrying out field work I have also been passionate about science communication and conservation ecology especially understanding the dynamics of urban ecology and conservation in the urban setting.

I am one of the founding members of Eswatini Youth Biodiversity Network, currently holding the role of secretary. This organization is a group of young people who wants to raise their voices into the involvement of the youth in governmental decisions, that involves the youth especially issues of Biodiversity and climate change.

I am also doing a lot of work at the Savanna Research Center, including conducting bird and small mammal surveys. Lastly, I teach at the University of Eswatini part-time.
