Niall Byrne is the co-founder and Creative Director of Science in Public, a science communication, media, and PR organisation working with scientists to ensure that their work is visible and has impact.

Niall founded Science in Public with Sarah Brooker in 2006.  

Niall was Conference Director of the 2007 World Conference of Science Journalists 

He is a member of the Australian Science Communicators. 

Recent projects include:  

Publicist, National Science Week, Australia; 

Australian coordinator, International Quantum Year. 

He last attended the WSF in 2005.
