Jetane Charsley is the Head of the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO), a specialised service delivery unit within the Department of Science and Innovation.  

She started her career at the Department of Science and Innovaiton (NIPMO) in May 2012.  Prior to her appointment she was employed at Kisch IP patent and trade mark attorneys for over 3 years.

Jetane completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2006 and Bachelor of Law (LLB) in 2010.  She is registered as a patent attorney and pharmacist and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
