Dr Phuti Chelopo-Mgobozi works as a Bio-economy Innovation Specialist at the Innovation Hub Management Company.  She is responsible for the execution of innovation programmes and thought leadership events in the Bioscience / Health sector.  Her role involves identifying & strengthening strategic partnerships with key stakeholders as well as supporting BioPark life science incubator and AgriPark operations.  She also manages the CoachLab Entrepreneurship Programme, a business skills development for elevation indigenous knowledge systems (IKS)-based innovations as well as a flagship Gauteng Accelerator Program (GAP) Innovation Competition in the Biosciences & Medical categories.  Dr Chelopo-Mgobozi has a passion for healthcare technology innovations, business development and the alleviation high-burden diseases across Africa. She has obtained her PhD qualification in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from North-West University in 2017.
