I am a Pension Fund Manager of a cross-border, multi-employer occupational pension fund, RESAVER which is open for research organisations and higher education institutions.

RESAVER Pension Fund was born to create a single European pension plan with the support of the European Commission to offer a tailored defined contribution pension plan for research organisations and their employees. 

RESAVER helps foster research mobility within Europe as its participants (among which are researchers) can stay affiliated to the same pension savings vehicle when moving between countries and employers during their career. RESAVER also contributes to research performing organisations be competitive and create an attractive and sustainable labour market for researchers. 

My role is to oversee daily operations of the Pension Fund and coordinate its service providers while making sure that RESAVER is fully compliant with local legislations in all countries where the Fund is operational (currently in Hungary, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Cyprus and France). I am also directly supporting the Board of Directors, other governance bodies and the Growth and Engagement Manager of RESAVER to enrol more research organisations into the fund.
