Julieth is a Ph.D. candidate of the doctoral school of Economics and Regional Science from MATE University. In her educational background, she holds an MSc degree on Rural Development and Agribusiness, from Szent Istvan University; and a bachelor degree on Environmental management, from the Distrital University of Bogota, Colombia.

 She has 4 years of professional experience in the academic sector, being research assistant, and coordinator of the research department for an university in Colombia; developing skills on research management and project design.

Among her research fields of interest are sustainable development, food security, sustainable agriculture, social and environmental economics. Julieth counts with around 8 participations, through oral presentations, in scientific conferences and academic events in Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Hungary. And 12 publications, among scientific papers, conference proceedings and a book.

She has worked as consultant in the private sector to design and management of projects, assessment methodologies for environmental, social, and economic impacts.
