Professor Jonathan Dawes is a mathematician, international adviser and consultant, and research leader. Current projects include using network science to understand interlinkages within the Sustainable Development Goals. He is currently seconded to UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) as Deputy Executive Chair of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). As part of the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, he leads on various policy issues and is Senior Responsible Owner for portfolios of projects within the UK Challenge Fund.
