My research interest is to investigate genomics of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) co-infection among reproductive age African women with uterine leiomyoma. My aim is to use biomedical techniques and develop gene-specific treatments that can monitor tissue-specific biomarkers associated with HBV/HIV co-infection.
