For more than 17 years Dovile has been working as associate professor at the Institute of International and EU Law at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania). For the period of 2014-2018 she served as a legal expert for Lithuania on FRANET research network, also participated in a number of research-led initiatives, including projects on the prohibition of forced evictions, protection of migrants’ rights, legal responses in time of crisis, etc. In August 2023 Dovile has been appointed as Science and Innovation Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
