Gian Maria Greco is the Chair of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), where he oversees several activities on science policy, science communication, and training. Within the MCAA, he collaborates in several projects including, SECURE on sustainable research careers. He also co-chairs the CoARA Working Group on multilingualism and language bias in research assessment, and co-leads the ResearchAbility Initiative, an inter-organisation programme dedicated to advocating for researchers with disabilities. His research interests centre on theoretical and practical aspects of access and accessibility, with a focus on translation, media, and human rights. He has held several academic positions and has nearly two decades of consulting experience with public and private organisations.
