Oulianovie Guessom Kamgue is a cameroonian. She is a Senior Lecturer/Researcher at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (FAVM) of the University of Buea, Cameroon. She obtained all her university degrees at the University of Dschang, Cameroon.
Her research interest is focused on the epigenetic and genomic associated to medicinal plants and their applications such as elaboration of new drugs to enhance the immune and hematological systems, cancer therapy and elaboration of phyto-bio sensors for biopurification.
She is member of several organizations such as Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Cameroon Professional Research Oriented Women Network (CaPROWN), Higher Institute for Growth in Health Research for Women (HIGHER Women) Consortium, team member of the "African Climate and Energy Research Group" (ACERG), member of Women in Neglected Tropical Diseases (WINS) Cameroon).
She conducted and still conducting outreach activities where she encourages girls and women from each stage of education to develop interest and/or conduct studies in STEM. She is a mentor to many scholarships seekers. She empowers young girls and female scientists to conduct their professional life while managing their private life.
Her passion: bring girls and women to become leaders by encouraging them to learn because learning ignites passion, passion leads to awareness and finally to set up concrete actions to achieve the sustainable development goals.
