Ferenc Hörcher is a political philosopher and philosopher of art. He is head of the Research Institute of Politics and Government of the University of Public Service, and senior research fellow of the Institute of Philosophy HUN-REN, in Budapest. His main research interests include conservatism, urban republicanism and the philosophy of art. 

His last book publication is Art and Politics in Roger Scruton's Conservative Philosophy, Palgrave-Macmillan, 2023.
