Alinafe is a rewarded technology innovator and entrepreneur with notable accolades whose example is the Global Innovation in Science and Technology Tech-I (GIST Tech-I) competition in 2019, which the United States Department of State implemented through its American Association for the Advancement of Science where he emerged as a global finalist. Among other awards, his innovation for temperature monitoring of cold-chain items, dubbed TempCras, was rewarded in 2017 at the Innovators Design Competition as the Best Overall Project, at Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Program 2018 in Nigeria as the business most likely to succeed and at the Southern Africa Start-up Awards (SASAwards) of the Global Innovation awards of 2018.
