Dr Dheshnie Keswell has a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Cape Town. She joined the Emerging Research Programme and Researcher Development Academy (RDA), at UCT, as a Research Development Co-ordinator in 2017. Her role is to design, facilitate and co-ordinate learning opportunities for UCT academic staff while also playing a mentoring and supportive role to Early Career Academics in their career development. Through the RDA, she has been involved in designing and delivering capacity development workshops for academics at external institutions.
