Umidjon Khoshimov is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in economic policy, strategic planning, and investment attraction. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Attracting Investments and Foreign Grants in Science and Innovations at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, where he develops and implements policies to support scientific and innovation initiatives. His past roles include working at SCOR Reinsurance in Germany on underwriting and risk management, as well as leading roles in Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Innovative Development and the National Agency of Project Management.

Khoshimov holds a Master’s in Economic Policy from the University of Siegen, Germany, and a Bachelor’s in Economics with Finance from the University of Westminster. His skills span strategic planning, project management, and data analysis, with proficiency in English, Russian, German, and Turkish. Recognized for his leadership and contributions to youth engagement, Khoshimov has published extensively on innovation, economics, and policy, positioning him as a forward-thinking contributor to Uzbekistan’s scientific and innovation sectors.
