I am Clara Wanjiru Kibira, Kenya citizen,  currently living in Nairobi and working for CEMASTEA( Centre for Mathematics Science Technology Education in Africa) as a Science practioner. CEMASTEA is a public organization under  the department of Science and Mathematics at  the Ministry of Education Kenya.

The mandate of CEMASTEA is research and capacity building of teachers in  STEM( Science Techonology Engineering and Mathemaitics) Education.

I am a graduate in Industrial chemistry from Technical university of Kenya, however i have over 10 years working  experience  in Science laboratories at CEMASTEA and across the country, i am currently in charge of Makerspace and Science innovation hub which i initiated and finally established a few years after i joined CEMASTEA. The  STEM Makespace and Science innovation hub  at CEMASTEA serves a huge number of students and teachers who visit and interact with  Science and Mathematics learning materials which they might  not have in there respective schools.

My dream is to start a STEM outreach in the country, the outreach will benefits both primary and secondary school from low resourced areas in the country with mobile experiments, demonstrations and other STEM related activities.
