Dr. Snežana Krstić is the Founding Chair of MCAA, an international association of researchers established by European Commission, where she chaired the Board and Executive Committee in the period 2013-2016. Her main background is in chemical engineering and environmental management and her interests encompass a wide range of issues at the intersection of science, society, policy and innovation, including research integrity and ethics, science policy, science diplomacy and SDGs. After many years in academic sector, as an independent expert, she has provided consultancy and expertise to numerous European & international organisations and Governments. She has several years of experience in media and in national broadcasting. Her current interests encompass also various aspects related to evidence based and informed policies.

She was a plenary speaker at the WSF 2015 and an invited speaker at numerous other prominent events.
