Galaletsang has over 10 years of professional experience in soil and water engineering, as well as research in the broader environmental field in Botswana. She holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (Agricultural University), India, and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Agriculture and Natural Resources.Her research interests include groundwater monitoring and governance, earth observations such as the GRACE satellite mission, wastewater treatment and management, the water and climate change nexus, water policy, corporate environmental responsibility, and sustainability. She has extensive expertise in preparing technical research reports, publications, and presentations at both university and national levels.Galaletsang is dedicated to collaborating with other experts in the water sector to enhance research outputs, including technical and policy briefs, as well as scientific publications. She is focused on contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030, particularly in improving water security in Botswana and internationally.
