Arthur Ario Lelono is the Director of Talent Management at the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BRIN). He graduated from Chemistry Department of Bogor Agricultural University in 2004 for his bachelor degree and continued to pursue his Master program and Doctoral program in the field of natural product chemistry at Ehime University Japan from 2005 to 2010. In 2010 he joins LIPI, and since then he continues his work in Research Center for Chemistry LIPI in the field of medicinal natural product chemistry. In 2019 he was assigned as the Head of Center for Development, Education, and Training – Indonesian Institute of Sciences, and since 2021 he was appointed as the Director of Talent Management BRIN and continuing the program for human capital development through capacity building, researcher mobilities, education and training based on research collaborations.

1. Isolation of antifungal compounds from tropical and temperate plants
2. Isolation of antidiabetic active compounds from Indonesian plants
3. Development of artemisinin and its derivatives as antimalaria drug
4. Development of HFC-134a sub critic for isolation of artemisinin and other biological active compounds
5. Development of platform for chemical safety and security officer in Research Center for Chemistry
6. Development of human resources for research innovation in capacity and competency development
