A diplomat since 2004, Andrei Luca has been the director for cultural and scientific diplomacy of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since March 2020. He has previously served as the MFA’s head of communication and the director general for diaspora. He has been for almost a decade the deputy of the Romanian ambassadors’ in Madrid and Rome.
