Prof. Dr. Fouzia Malik is a highly accomplished professor and researcher specializing in material theory, electrochemistry, and spectroscopy. She currently serves as Director of the Climate Change & Sustainable Development Program and has held leadership roles at the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering and Sciences (SINES) at NUST, Pakistan. Dr. Malik's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for Polymers, Composites, and Biomaterials in Italy.
Her work spans numerous administrative, teaching, and research roles, including supervising doctoral and postdoctoral students and publishing extensively on topics like water treatment, energy storage, and environmental chemistry. Dr. Malik has been recognized with several awards, including the SINES Best Teacher and twice Researcher Awards, NUST top performer award and NUST Star Performance Award. She has also collaborated internationally with institutions in Greece, the UK, and China. Dr. Malik is noted for her contributions to developing academic programs and leading projects funded by Industries in Pakistan focused on sustainable solutions.
