Brief introduction:

Thabelo is a process engineer by training supporting the Sasol ecoFT business: Technology & Engineering as a licensor.

Sasol ecoFT is a new business unit, pioneering Sasol’s long-term sustainability and growth within the broad objectives set for a cleaner carbon future, in particular in the aviation transportation sector. This business is currently in its ramp-up phase, with an active and growing project funnel focussed at present on identified demonstration ventures by 2025. As a licensor, Thabelo's role and responsibilities include supportting the broader Licensing team within Sasol ecoFT´s Technology & Engineering department with dedicated specialist work as identified from progress with the various projects and opportunities being evaluated for Sasol ecoFT.

Areas of expertise:

Thabelo has contributed towards research and knowledge capture in “wastewater treatment using bio-sorbents” studies. Her ability to ask explorative questions, critical thinking, a thirst for knowledge, effective communication, networking and collaboration, resilience, and an attitude of always striving for excellence are her relied upon tools for enabling sustainability and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Thabelo holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, both from university of the Witwatersrand.
