Tshifhiwa is a trained Nutritionist working as an acaamedic at the University of enda since 2009. Shelds a PhD degree she which was obtained in 2021. Her research focuses on child nutrition including growth monitoirg and promotion, maternal nurition and the role of indigenous knowledge in health  and nutrition. She has presented her research both undergraduate and postgraduate at both national and international conferences. Tshifhiwa enjoys working with students and in this regrads she has supervised more than 20 undergraduate nutrition students. She has published more than eight peer revied articles in both national and international journals.
