Currently working part-time as a project mamangerbusiness consultant for AfAS and the National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme. Worked for the NRF as Business Director for some 20 years at Corporate and iThemba LABS. Responsible for business/operational support inclusive of Startegy Development and implememntation and preparation of budgets, management accounts, quarterlt.monthly reports and drafting/evaluation of funding proposals. Retired in October 2019 as I reached the retiremeny age of 65. Joined AfAS in April 2020 at the request of the DSI to facilitate the operationalisation of AfAS and provide business/financial advive to the Executive Committee.

Started career at Unilevet in 1977 and held several management postiuons in the Commercial/Logistics Divisions for 20 years. 

Actively involved in Astronomy across Africa and member of the GA2024 NOC.
