Martin is a  Past   President   of   the   Federation of African Engineering Organisations (FAEO).   He  is   a   Vice   President   of   the   World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) and Chair of its Capacity Building Technical Standing Committee since 2019. He is a pastChairman   of   the   Engineering   Council   of  Zimbabwe   (ECZ)   and   Past   President   of   theZimbabwe  Institution  of  Engineers  (ZIE).  He  is the  Founding  President  of  the  Southern African Federation of Engineering Organisations (SAFEO). He also is a founding member of the Asia Africa Pacific Accord’s Engineering Council.
