Melnyk Leonid, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of SumDU, Director of the Institute for Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (SumDU). Melnyk L.G. is the founder of the scientific school of economics of systems development and sustainable information society, within which the project will be implemented. Melnyk’s L.G. research interests relate to studying the fundamentals of socio-economic systems, the theory of sustainable development and phase socio-economic transitions, the study of socio-economic problems of the information society, and modern industrial revolutions (Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0). As a leader and executor, he has participated in 24 international research projects funded by the programs: British Council, Erasmus, Eurasia, Flander Government, Jean Monnet, NATO, World Bank, and others. Melnyk L.G. published more than 500 scientific papers, including more than 30 - which are accounted for by databases Scopus and Web of Science; his h-index is 9. He has completed research and teaching internships at leading research centers and universities in Australia, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Japan. He is an expert from Ukraine in the EU's Horizon program.
