Professor Radu Munteanu is with the Electrotechnics and Measurement Department, Faculty of Electrical Engineering since 1969. He served as dean of the faculty (1990-2004), rector of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (2004-2012), and vicepresident of the Romanian National Coucil of the Rectors. • 2003-2009: Member of ESF “PESC”, European Science Foundation; Standing Committee for Physical and Engineering Sciences; • 2004-2012: Member of “Steering Committee for Higher Education and Research”, Council of Europe, Strasbourg; • 2012-2014: Member in Executive Office of the “Steering Committee for Educational Policy and Practice” (CDPPE) of Europe Council, Strasbourg (representative of European Universities) • 2005-present Member in International Jury of the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Bruxelles and Barcelona.
