Raheli is Environmental scientist with more than ten years (10) of research and consultancy experience. Raheli Hold Masters and Bachelor degrees in Environmental Sciences. Her current research interest is on conversion of waste to valuable products mainly renewable energy (eg. Biogas and briquettes) and bio-fertilizer (eg. compost and vermicompost). Currently, Raheli is leading two projects relating to waste conversion as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator. Raheli is a registered environmental expert by National Environmental Management Council (NEMC), Tanzania. In 2020, She was awarded 6 months fellowships by BioInnovate Africa (3rd cohort) where she worked on waste conversion to Biofertilizer. In the same year she was awarded 3 years fellowship (non-stay program) by one planet    fellowship led by AWARD (2nd cohort), working on conversion of waste to energy.
