Balázs Németh is a Senior Research Fellow of the Vehicle Dynamics and Control Research Group. He has been working in the Institute for Computer Science and Control since 2007. He received his Ph.D. degree in transportation sciences at 2013, and Dr. habil degree at 2023 from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He received his D.Sc. (Doctor of Sciences) degree at 2024 from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He also serves as a reformed pastor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in theology at Károli University, Hungary. His most important research areas: nonlinear analysis and synthesis of autonomous vehicle control systems, coordination of learning-based and model-based control systems, ethical aspects of autonomous vehicle control design, variable geometry suspension control.
