Prof Khathutshelo Nephawe serves as the Chairperson of Council at the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). He also serve on the Onderstepoort Biological Product Institute (OBP) Boardand the proSET committee of the NSTF. Previously he served on the SA Society for Animal Sciences Council, Madzivhandila College of Agriculture Advisor Board, and Potchefstroom College of Agriculture Advisor Board. He is also a member of the African Technology and Innovations Incubators Advisory Committee (ATIIAC) of the African Union-InterAfrica Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR). His highest education qualifications includes: PhD in Agriculture (University of Nebraska, USA) under the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship and Masters in Business Leadership from UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership. He is formerly employed by Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) as a Research Professor and HoD - Animal Science. Previously he worked as Research Scientific Manager at Limpopo Department of Agriculture and as Senior Researcher at Agricultural Research Council. He is rated by the NRF as an Established Researcher. His scope of research agenda shows commitment to multi- or trans-disciplinary science and his research has contributed to the SDGs, NDP 2030, and African Union Agenda 2063. He boosts an outstanding postgraduate supervision track record, as well as sustained excellent research outputs. He is registered as a Professional Natural Scientist by SACNASP.
