Agatha Ngotho is a sceince journalist at the Star Newspaper, a division of Radio Africa Group based in Nairobi, Kenya. 

I am honoured to be a newly elected member of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) Board of Directors. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for Media, Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (MESHA).  

She has over a decade of experience in science journalism, specializing in agriculture and climate change among other science related issues. 

As a WFSJ Board member, Agatha is committed to fostering a vibrant and impactful global science journalism community.    

She will focus on mentoring young journalists, particularly women. 

She will engage with WFSJ events and conferences to exchange ideas and strategies with fellow journalists worldwide, and conribute towards the promotion of responsible, solution-oriented science journalism.
