Nurul Hasnat Ove is a passionate young leader from Bangladesh, dedicated to driving positive change through sustainability and youth empowerment. He currently serves as President of QS Impact & World Merit Bangladesh, as well as Leadership Development Association International in Bangladesh, where he focuses on empowering youth and promoting social innovation. Nurul has worked closely with global organizations, including UNESCO MGIEP, where he contributed to SDG 4.7 initiatives with the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh.He is also the Youth Representative of UNESCO SDG4Youth Network,UNESCO Youth Climate Change Network and UNESCO Youth Global Community.

He plays an active role in climate action, serving as Co-Lead of Membership and Engagement in the Ocean Youth Working Group of the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network. Nurul has represented YOUNGO as a GCT Member at numerous global conferences, including COPs, Stockholm+50, and SBs. He was nominated for the Commonwealth Youth Award 2022 by the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Bangladesh.

Nurul’s advocacy for environmental sustainability and human rights is exemplified through his leadership in beach cleanups, sustainable transportation campaigns, and engaging marginalized communities. He has represented Bangladesh at prominent international forums as a Judge and Speaker.He has been recognized for his leadership and contributions, Nurul continues to inspire and mobilize young people to tackle global challenges and promote sustainable development.
