Jennifer obtained her B.A. from Boston University in International Relations with a minor in Italian Studies, and her M.A. from the University of Hamburg in European Studies. She subsequently worked in teaching and research at the Chair for Urban Sociology at the Institute of European Urban Studies, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She joined the Global Young Academy (GYA) administrative office based in Halle (Saale), Germany in 2017, where she is now a Senior Project Officer. She manages projects in the areas of science leadership capacity building, at-risk scholars, and the annual general meetings of the GYA.
