Journalist, Neapolitan, master's degree in international relations. I moved from Italy to San Francisco in the early eighties. I had been appointed to report from California as a Special Envoy by the Italian monthly Frigidaire; then, I returned to promote the Third Millennium Evidensia Foundation, a muse project dedicated to the investigation of the future. Settled in Nothern California, over the years, I have been a foreign correspondent for Panorama, L'Espresso, Focus, Repubblica, the Los Angeles Times, Pacific News Service, and New America Media. I was the first Italian correspondent to narrate Silicon Valley from the inside and to discuss how science and technology have contributed to the mystique of the Californian Dream and the rise of Silicon Valley. In 2019 I founded The Almanac of the History of the Italians of California, a site dedicated to the grassroots narration of the history of the Italian community of California. In addition, I am a contributing editor to Neo.life, a Berkeley (California) based online science magazine exploring the new neobiological age, and a Fulbright specialist. Finally, I continue contributing articles and commentaries to Italian and US news media and scientific journals.
