Linnéa REGNELL, is a Swedish national and joined ASEF and the Education Department in 2023. There, she works on the department's Youth Projects, which aim to bring young people, aged 18-30, together from Asia and Europe for Global Citizenship Education, Leadership capacity building, and Intercultural Understanding. One of the projects organised is the Asia-Europe Science and Technology Diplomacy Initiative, which conducts research and connects academics, diplomats, professionals and students engaged in international collaborations related to science, technology, and innovation in Asia and Europe. ASEF is organising a side event to the World Science Forum where the initial findings from the research from this project will be shared.

Linnéa graduated with a Master of Laws from University of Uppsala in 2022 where she specialised in Public International Law, mediation, and negotiation. Before joining ASEF, she worked for the European Law Student's Association as an Executive Board Member and organised the association's two biggest Moot courts (the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition on European Human Rights Law and the John H Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law) with hundreds of participating teams from all over the world, in cooperation with universities, law firms, and institutions such as the Council of Europe and the World Trade Organization.
