Ph.D. Candidate, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE)
CV
I am a passionate agricultural scientist who believes in transforming agriculture through innovation by developing sustainable crop protection solutions and improving current agricultural practices. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences in a bi-nationally supervised doctoral program (Cotutelle) between the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and São Paulo State University (UNESP). With an academic and professional foundation built in Brazil, Australia and Hungary, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of plant physiology and biochemistry, as well as plant pathology. My academic life began with a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomic Engineering (Honours) from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC) in Bahia, Brazil. My curiosity then led me to pursue further education abroad, where I did an exchange program at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. I returned to Brazil to pursue a Master’s degree in Agronomy (Crop Production) at São Paulo State University (UNESP), and my research, at this time, was focused on abiotic plant stress tolerance. Currently, as a Ph.D. candidate, my work delves deeper into biotic plant stress resistance (sunflower and two major pathogens), integrating my experience in physiological, biochemical, and molecular analyses in plant-pathogen interactions and the use of biostimulants.
