Her employment at UTM began in 2008 as a research officer, and after completing her Ph.D. in Policy Studies, she became an academician. She teaches the Foundations of STI Policy, Policy Development, and Research Methodology. She has participated in numerous policy-related research and consultancy projects funded by government agencies and private organizations. Her areas of interest in research include policymaking, monitoring and evaluation, disaster preparedness, and quantitative research instrument development.
